Greencrest Manor

Greencrest Manor is a 1935 French Normandy estate set on 15 acres just north of Battle Creek, Michigan. Originally built by Mrs. Burt with craftsmanship inspired by the French countryside, the property features ivy-covered walls, grand staircases, manicured gardens, and a wisteria pergola. After a monastic period and a careful restoration in the late 1980s, the estate now operates as a seasonal wedding and private event venue under the stewardship of owner Jenn Ederer. Weddings at Greencrest unfold over a full weekend, with exclusive use of the property from rehearsal dinner through Sunday farewell brunch. The Celebration House, an indoor-outdoor reception hall with French door panels that open fully to the gardens, accommodates up to 200 guests. Dedicated getting-ready spaces — the She Shed, the Hop House, and the Pump House — and eight overnight suites for up to 24 guests round out the estate's offerings. Greencrest limits the number of weddings it hosts each season, allowing its on-site team to provide estate coordination and weekend-long hospitality. In-house floral design and exclusive reception catering through Millennium Catering are available on the property. The venue operates from May through October.
