Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch

Greenhorn Ranch is an all-inclusive guest ranch set on 600 acres in Northern California's Lost Sierra, 11 miles east of Quincy near the Sierra Nevada backcountry. Established in 1962, the property sits adjacent to more than 500,000 acres of public lands, surrounded by towering pines and a trout-stocked pond at its center. The ranch hosts weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, and full private buyouts across several distinct gathering spaces — from the Saloon and Bar Deck accommodating up to 120 guests for cocktail events, to outdoor lakeside settings for groups of up to 250. The Lodge, Chuck House, and Tack Room round out the indoor options, offering more intimate configurations from 10 to 75 guests. Events at Greenhorn Ranch are supported by in-house catering with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, a full-service Saloon bar, and a team of on-site coordinators. Guests can build in guided ranch activities — horseback riding, archery, fly fishing, skeet shooting, and electric mountain biking — making the venue well-suited for multi-day gatherings and destination events.
