Greenhorn Creek Resort

Greenhorn Creek Resort is a golf resort and event venue set on 711 McCauley Ranch Road in Angels Camp, California, in the heart of the Sierra Foothills Gold Country. The property debuted in June 1996 and spans a championship 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, winding through ancient oak trees, rolling foothills, and past a historic lake — alongside archaeological sites that speak to the land's 4,000-year human history. The resort's dedicated Sales and Catering team hosts weddings and private events across several outdoor settings, including scenic ceremony sites overlooking the lake and 18th fairway. Camps Restaurant, the resort's signature dining establishment, offers indoor event space with exposed beam ceilings, two fireplaces, and expansive Sierra views. Event services include site visits, wedding tastings, and concierge-level planning support. Beyond events, the property includes The Caddyshack private lodge for group retreats, two heated swimming pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and the award-winning Camps Restaurant serving lunch and dinner daily.
