Guard and Grace is a modern American steakhouse located at 1801 California Street in downtown Denver, Colorado, founded by Chef Troy Guard. Named after Guard's daughter, the restaurant was built on the philosophy that a steakhouse can be elegant and inviting without sacrificing warmth — an approach reflected in its light, airy design and commitment to genuine hospitality. The kitchen draws on prime, dry-aged, and local Wagyu beef sourced from Creekstone Farms, complemented by an extensive seafood program inspired by Guard's Hawaiian heritage, innovative cocktails, and wines from around the world. The Denver location has been voted best steakhouse in Denver and is recognized by the Michelin Guide. For private events, Guard and Grace Denver offers several distinct spaces accommodating gatherings of varying sizes. The Grace Room, Jagger Room, and Jameson Room are elegant indoor dining rooms that can be reserved individually or combined for groups up to 80 guests. The Terrace provides 1,500 square feet of partially covered outdoor space for cocktail-style events of 50 to 70 guests, while the adjacent 1801 Atrium — a vaulted lobby connected to the restaurant — accommodates up to 200 guests for large receptions.
