- How much does it cost to rent the venue?
- For a partial buyout of the second floor, the rental is $2,500. If you're looking for a full buyout, the estimated price is $8,000. Please note that these rates are for the space rental only and do not include the cost of food and beverages.
- What is the venue refund or cancellation policy for buyouts?
- GupShup reserves the right to hold the deposit. There will be a rebooking permission for up to 3 months using the same deposit if informed 14 days prior to the event date.
- Does the venue have a liquor license?
- Yes, GupShup does have a liquor license. We're fully licensed to serve alcohol on-site.
- Is the venue handicap accessible?
- Yes, GupShup is ADA compliant. We’re able to accommodate guests on our first floor to ensure accessibility and comfort for everyone.
- Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?

Proprietor & Chief ChaiwallaRestauranter Jimmy Rizvi, owner of GupShup, Bungalow, Chote Miya, Ammi, and Mithaiwala. he also serves on the board of NYC Hospitality Alliance - a leading voice for NYC's restaurant and nightlife industry & City Harvest's esteemed Food Council comprised of restaurateurs and Chefs, a non-profit started to end hunger in communities through out New York City, he also served on Doordash's Restaurant Advisory Council for North America.
