Haines Fairgrounds

The Southeast Alaska State Fair fairgrounds span 42 acres in Haines, Alaska, serving as a year-round center for community recreation and private events. Nestled in the heart of the Last Frontier, the property hosts everything from the annual Southeast Alaska State Fair to Winterfest celebrations, salmon barbecues, and beer festivals throughout the calendar year. Harriett Hall anchors the venue's event hosting capacity with 7,000 square feet of flexible space, including 5,000 square feet of open meeting area fitted with acoustic treatments and portable room dividers. The hall accommodates up to 300 guests in banquet configuration and is equipped with a commercial kitchen, ADA-compliant restrooms, high-speed wireless internet, audiovisual equipment, and a PA system — making it well suited for weddings, receptions, dinners, concerts, trade shows, and corporate gatherings. Adding a truly distinctive backdrop, Dalton City — a replica Gold Rush-era streetscape originally built as a movie set for the 1991 Disney film *White Fang* — occupies a corner of the grounds. Its faux-frontier buildings connected by wooden boardwalk offer an unusual and memorable setting that has drawn visitors to Haines for decades.
