Hancock Shaker Village

Hancock Shaker Village is a living history museum on 750 acres at the base of the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts, offering weddings and private events across a campus of twenty historic buildings. Heirloom vegetable and herb gardens, farm animals, and sweeping mountain views provide a setting unlike a conventional event venue. Event spaces range from the heirloom gardens — available for outdoor ceremonies and photographs — to The Timberframe, which accommodates up to 75 guests, and The Event Tent, which hosts up to 270 guests with views of the surrounding mountains and one of the oldest working farms in New England. The Village sits approximately two and a half hours from Boston and three hours from New York. Staff assist with events from bridal luncheons and rehearsal dinners through the wedding day itself, and the Village provides couples with a curated list of regional vendors including caterers, florists, photographers, videographers, sound rental, and entertainment.
