Financed by hundreds of Prescott citizens who each purchased one-dollar shares, the inn has stood as an anchor in the community for nearly a century — welcoming notable guests such as Clark Gable, Greta Garbo, and Will Rogers. The building's distinctive character is shaped by elaborate stained-glass doors, vibrant murals, hand-painted ceiling beams, a grand Talavera tile fireplace, and Castilian walnut furniture.
