Hayloft Theatre

The Hayloft Theatre is a restored 1902 barn relocated to Portage, Michigan's Celery Flats Historical Area in 1992, where it has served as a performance venue and private event space. Its interior features vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and a 35-by-45-foot floor plan capable of accommodating up to 120 guests at tables or 180 guests for standing receptions. Available for private rentals from May through October, the theatre is well suited for weddings, receptions, and celebrations that call for a historic barn setting. The Celery Flats Historical Area provides a distinctive backdrop, and the building's turn-of-the-century character lends itself to both rustic and elegant event aesthetics. Indoor restroom facilities are available on the lower level.
