Heart S Ranch

Heart S Ranch is a working cattle ranch turned outdoor event venue nestled in the rolling hills of Cottonwood, California, with sweeping views of Mount Lassen and the surrounding pastures. Owned and operated by Kristi and Dan Steadman, the ranch takes its name from the family's cattle brand — a heart with the letter "S" — a symbol that carries the same meaning for the events hosted there as it does for the cattle that roam the property. The centerpiece of the venue is a 40-by-80-foot white tent with window sidewalls and bistro lighting that seats up to 250 guests. An adjacent outdoor patio provides space for a bar, DJ setup, and dancing under the open sky. The grounds also feature four styles of wedding arbors, manicured ceremony lawns framed by oak trees, and scenic fields that have served as the backdrop for weddings, corporate gatherings, reunions, and fundraisers since 2010. Included with the venue are two air-conditioned dressing rooms, a prep kitchen for catering staff, on-site restrooms, a staffed parking area, and a full inventory of tables, chairs, and decorative items. One-on-one attention and on-site staff are provided throughout each event.
