Heathcote Botanical Gardens

Heathcote Botanical Gardens is a nonprofit botanical garden in Fort Pierce, Florida, set across a lush landscape of seven specialty garden rooms — including a Japanese Garden, Reflection Garden, Herb Garden, Native Plants Garden, Rainforest Display, Secret Garden, and Palm and Cycad Walk. Positioned in a subtropical transition zone, the gardens cultivate an unusually diverse range of native Florida flora alongside plants from tropical and Mediterranean regions. The gardens host private events for up to 300 guests, with the outdoor grounds available for weddings, parties, meetings, and social gatherings. Events take place against a backdrop of labeled tropical plantings, with electrical access, tables and chairs, and trash facilities provided on-site. A four-week advance reservation is required, and the gardens operate a smoke-free, confetti-free environment.
