Heritage Hotel

The Heritage Hotel, Golf, Spa & Conference Center is a full-service resort property set amid the Connecticut countryside near Southbury, about 90 minutes from New York City and two miles off I-84. The hotel combines event hosting with resort amenities — including an 8,000-square-foot athletic club with indoor and outdoor heated saltwater pools, a sauna, and a 9-hole USGA-rated golf course at the adjacent Pomperaug Golf Club — making it a natural choice for overnight destination events. The signature Timbers Ballroom accommodates up to 200 guests and features cathedral ceilings, a massive stone fireplace, wood-beam architecture, and wall-to-wall windows overlooking wooded grounds and a vineyard. The hotel's outdoor spaces — the Stone Garden, enclosed by stone walls, and the vineyard — serve as ceremony sites, while the Terrace Room and Patio offers a setting for cocktail receptions and rehearsal dinners. For corporate gatherings, the property offers 21 meeting rooms totaling 28,000 square feet, staffed by a dedicated Conference Service Management team. In-house catering and customizable menus round out the full-service offering across weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations.
