Hernando Beach Yacht Club

Hernando Beach Yacht Club is a not-for-profit waterfront club founded in 1978 on the Gulf Coast of Florida, located in Hernando Beach. What began as a community of boating enthusiasts has grown to around 100 members, with membership open to all — boat ownership is not required. The club hosts private events and social gatherings in a space that seats up to 100 guests, with a dance floor, full bar, and kitchen facilities on-site. It is well suited for dinners, celebrations, and group events in a relaxed waterfront setting. Beyond private rentals, the club maintains an active calendar of community events, including bimonthly dinners, a Christmas Boat Parade, a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, and the annual Blessing of the Fleet. Hernando Beach Yacht Club is affiliated with the Yachting Club of America and the National Association of Yacht Clubs, offering members reciprocal privileges at more than 700 yacht and sailing clubs across the country.
