When I first began Hidden Acres in 2007, I can say with complete candor that I had no intention of ever developing it into a wedding venue. It was first conceived of as a sort of hunting lodge when it was first built. But as more people approached me with the idea of having their wedding here, I became aware that there was a niche in the community that I could potentially fill. Keeping this gap in the market in mind, I set out to make Hidden Acres the most sought-after location for weddings in the Pee Dee region. To each of our couples, I believe that we have brought a little bit of paradise into their lives through the work that we have done here. The fact that other people love Hidden Acres just as much as we do is both an honor and a source of humility for my family and me.
