Once the home of philanthropist and collector Marjorie Merriweather Post, the estate features a Georgian-style mansion filled with notable Russian and French decorative arts, along with beautifully designed garden rooms that bloom throughout the seasons. Please note that private events, such as weddings, are not permitted.

Evening event rentals (anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.) for certified non-profit organizations are $5000. This event subsidy includes venue space in our courtyard tent or visitor center/conservatory, with touring access to the indoor exhibition spaces and gardens for guests. Event setup is not permitted in the exhibition spaces or gardens themselves. All other event payments (catering, beverages, tables, linens, florals, etc.) are done via outside vendors. Please note we do not allow weddings or other related events, such as receptions, vow exchanges or renewals, engagement ceremonies or parties, or readings.

Daytime event rentals (any four hour period between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.) are $2500. This event subsidy includes venue space in the conservatory, located in the visitor center, with touring access to the indoor exhibition spaces and gardens for guests. Event setup is not permitted in the exhibition spaces or gardens themselves. All other event payments (catering, beverages, tables, linens, florals, etc.) are done via outside vendors. Please note the estate will remain open to non-event guests, with private use guaranteed only for the venue (the conservatory). Please note we do not allow weddings or other related events, such as receptions, vow exchanges or renewals, engagement ceremonies or parties, or readings.
