With its breathtaking setting in the heart of Old Town Key West, the Audubon House and Tropical Gardens is an ideal location for weddings, corporate functions, and other private events, ranging from intimate gatherings to grand galas. Among the best outdoor venues in Key West for private events, our gardens have been voted "The Best Outdoor Location." Ceremony, cocktail receptions, and dinners can all take place in our outdoor venue. The back deck of the historic home provides a stunning backdrop for a ceremony that can accommodate up to 100 participants. Wedding receptions for up to 130 guests, corporate cocktail parties for up to 250 guests, and corporate dinner parties for up to 150 guests are all possible in the gardens. In collaboration with your caterer or event planner, we will set up chairs, tables, and other decor as needed. We welcome DJs and musicians of all genres to provide entertainment for your guests, and the back porch of the house serves as the ideal dance floor for your evening festivities. There are countless photo opportunities in our beautiful gardens, making it easy to capture the memories of your special event. You and your photographer will have no trouble slipping away for a few minutes to capture some spectacular Key West sunset photos to add to your photo album thanks to our convenient location across the street from the world-famous Mallory Square. In order to provide your guests with an unforgettable experience, the elegant mid-nineteenth-century home will be open for private tours during the event, allowing them to learn about the history of Key West and the art of John James Audubon. We have a number of different packages available, ranging from four-hour weekend evening rentals to discounted weekday rates.
