Historic Market Hall

Historic Market Hall is a full-service event venue in the heart of Raleigh's Moore Square District, occupying a landmark building dating to 1914. The space blends original architectural details — exposed brick, timber beams, and stone fireplaces — with modern design and a scratch kitchen led by Executive Chef Chris Hill, who brings more than 39 years of hospitality experience to an American Southern culinary program. Two primary event rooms, Park View and Market View, each accommodate up to 300 seated guests and can be used together for gatherings of up to 400 seated or 700 in a cocktail configuration. A covered outdoor patio on Blake Street adds capacity for up to 80 guests, and a city street-closure permit can open the cobblestone streets of City Market for expanded receptions. Two private VIP suites — one overlooking Moore Square, the other facing City Market — serve as dedicated preparation spaces for wedding parties. The main level offers fully accessible, street-level entry. Four public parking facilities are located within one block of the venue.
