Historic Taylor Barn

Historic Taylor Barn is a limestone event venue near Lawrence, Kansas, built in 1879 by Eben Baldwin and German craftsmen. Originally constructed to house 30 head of horse and 80 tons of hay, the structure has been part of a working farm owned by the Taylor family since 1947. The barn has welcomed weddings and private celebrations since 2007, offering a one-of-a-kind rustic setting during its May through October season. The venue accommodates up to 125 guests across the barn, porch, and terrace, with packages that include banquet tables, white chairs, linens, indoor and outdoor bars, and a dedicated on-site coordinator. A historic farmhouse on the property is available to the bridal party on event days.
