Holston Hills Country Club

Founded in 1927, Holston Hills Country Club is a historic private club set on 180 acres of rolling terrain along the Holston River, home to one of the most authentic Donald Ross golf course designs in the country. The Tudor-style clubhouse sits on a hill overlooking the course and the Great Smoky Mountains in the distance, giving the property a storied, old-world character that has hosted championship golf since Byron Nelson's win at the 1945 Knoxville Open. For weddings and private celebrations, the clubhouse's historic ballroom is the club's signature event space, with soaring 30-foot ceilings, exposed wood trusses, two oversized fireplaces, and a hardwood dance floor. A wraparound terrace just off the ballroom looks out over the fairways and mountains beyond, giving couples and guests a scenic backdrop for photographs and outdoor moments between indoor celebrations. Holston Hills' event team works with couples and hosts from initial planning through the final toast, and the club also hosts golf outings, corporate gatherings, and milestone celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and showers.
