Homewood Event & Conference Center

Homewood is a restored 1927 English stone manor in Asheville's historic Montford neighborhood, less than a mile from downtown. Built as the residence of Dr. Robert Carole, the property has hosted notable figures over the years — among them composer Béla Bartók and pianist Nina Simone. The venue has operated as a wedding and events destination since 2001, drawing on the manor's architectural character: original hardwood floors, cherry walls, 20-foot ceilings, a Grand Appalachian Stone Fireplace, and wrought-iron chandeliers. The Great Room accommodates up to 110 guests for seated dinners with a dance floor, or 150 for cocktail-style receptions. Ceremonies take place either indoors in front of the fireplace or outdoors in the adjacent Garden Ceremony Site, set within landscaped grounds. Homewood provides complimentary overnight parking for up to 200 vehicles, full handicap accessibility via elevator and ramps, and in-house event coordination through Carolina Love Events. The venue welcomes all couples.
