Hotel Diamond

Hotel Diamond is a lovingly restored boutique hotel occupying a historic 1904 building in downtown Chico, California. Originally built by James Franklin Morehead, the property brought first-class elegance to the region with the Diamond Cafe, and its carefully preserved woodwork — which survived multiple fires — stands today as a testament to that heritage. The elegant foyer showcases antique furniture, custom woodwork, and etched glass, setting a tone of nostalgic charm blended with modern comfort. For private events, Hotel Diamond offers three distinct spaces: the Grand Dining Room for larger gatherings, the intimate Wine Cellar suited to private dinners and rehearsal celebrations, and the Cupola Conference Room for corporate and business meetings.
