House Wine and the Spy House

House Wine is a locally female-owned and operated wine bar in Austin's Bouldin Creek neighborhood, pouring since 2008. Its wine list draws from small-production, boutique wineries and vineyards around the world that favor sustainable, natural, organic, and biodynamic practices, giving guests an approachable way to explore new labels by the glass. Locally sourced food rounds out the experience, with cheese and charcuterie boards, shared plates, tapas, and Bola pizzas available to pair with the wine. The setting is contemporary yet cozy, described as unpretentious and inclusive as Austin itself. House Wine hosts private events for 10 to 100 guests across several spaces, including an intimate Front Room, a 35-guest Lounge, an Upstairs room, and an outdoor Patio, with a full buyout available for larger celebrations such as happy hours, holiday parties, engagement parties, bachelorette parties, and bridal or baby showers.
