Independence Golf Club

Independence Golf Club sits just west of Richmond in Midlothian, Virginia, pairing an 18-hole championship course with the Tom Fazio-designed 9-hole Bear Course. Golf Digest has recognized the club among the top courses in Richmond and named it one of its Top 10 Best Remodels. Beyond golf, the property operates as The Estate at Independence, a wedding and event venue set among rolling hills with sweeping sunset views. The Estate can accommodate up to 300 guests and offers multiple indoor and outdoor ceremony sites, each paired with an indoor rain plan for inclement weather. Event spaces include The Ballroom, The Fall Line Room, The Wine Room, and the Overlook Suite, along with a dedicated Business Center for corporate meetings. Wedding rentals include a coordinator, tables, gold Chiavari chairs, linens, and use of the Bridal Suite and Groom's Room, and the club's events team also supports related celebrations such as engagement parties, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners. On-site dining is available through Tavern 19, a kitchen and taphouse, and Coalesce Coffee.
