InterContinental - The Clement Monterey

InterContinental The Clement Monterey sits on historic Cannery Row in Monterey, California, steps from the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium and overlooking the shimmering waters of Monterey Bay. Opened in 2008 as the first new waterfront hotel built in Monterey in over two decades, the property combines coastal luxury with the maritime heritage of one of California's most storied neighborhoods. The hotel offers more than 15,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space across 12 venues, accommodating gatherings of all sizes — from intimate boardroom meetings to large-scale receptions. Its two ballrooms feature spectacular ocean views, and several spaces open onto balconies or coastal courtyards. Highlights include the Pacific Ballroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay and banquet seating for up to 220 guests; the Pacific View Courtyard, a 3,300-square-foot sky-lit outdoor space sheltered from coastal breezes with two fire pits; and the Ocean Terrace Ballroom, a waterfront space ideal for ceremonies and receptions of up to 100 guests. All events are supported by the hotel's in-house culinary team, offering seasonal California cuisine for occasions ranging from gourmet breakfasts to elegant plated dinners. The InterContinental The Clement Monterey welcomes weddings of all ceremony types, corporate meetings, and private celebrations, with dedicated event coordination throughout the planning process.
