Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens

Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is a 120-acre urban woodland and 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Jacksonville, Florida, managed by Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens, Inc. on city-owned land in the Arlington neighborhood. Opened to the public in November 2008 after decades of community restoration, the property spans 13 distinct ecological habitats — from oak hammock and freshwater ravine to upland sand hill and tidal marsh — connected by more than three miles of trails. Site rentals are available for personal events and weddings, with a maximum of 50 guests. The arboretum offers a variety of outdoor settings for ceremonies and gatherings, including a Live Oak Canopy, Meadow, Lake Overlook, Palm Grove, Loblolly Boardwalk, and lakeside pavilions. The venue provides the location; couples and planners bring their own catering and vendors, shaping an event entirely around the natural surroundings.
