Jose P. Rizal Community Center

Jose P. Rizal Community Center is a 10,000-square-foot multipurpose event facility located at 7320 Florin Mall Drive in Sacramento, California, operated by the Southgate Recreation & Park District. Opened in 1983 and named after Philippine patriot and physician Jose P. Rizal, the center was originally envisioned to serve the Filipino community and has grown into a versatile gathering space for the broader Sacramento area. The center's main activity hall features polished wood flooring, bleachers, indoor and outdoor stages, and a scoreboard — making it well-suited for weddings, banquets, dances, birthday parties, sports events, and meetings. The facility accommodates up to 350 guests and includes a well-appointed kitchen, a lobby area, a small meeting and changing room, and audio-visual capabilities throughout. A lighted parking lot serves guests on site.
