Jug Handle Creek Farm

Jug Handle Creek Nature Center sits on a 32-acre historical farm property along Jug Handle Creek, between Mendocino and Fort Bragg on California's North Coast. The nonprofit nature education facility hosts weddings, family reunions, retreats, and group gatherings in a setting of coastal forests, meadows, and ocean-view hillsides, with easy access to Jug Handle State Natural Reserve and its celebrated Ecological Staircase. The property accommodates up to 150 total guests — 50 in indoor lodging and 90 in the campground — across an 1870s Victorian Farmhouse (sleeping up to 20), a Bunkhouse, individual Cottages, rustic Cabins, and a campground. Orchard Meadow serves as the dedicated outdoor event venue for weddings and celebrations, with events offered on a limited basis from June through October. The farmhouse includes a fully equipped kitchen, formal dining room, music room, and first-floor handicap-accessible bedroom and bathroom. The Bunkhouse features a Sea Terrace classroom available for meetings, workshops, and smaller gatherings. Amplified music is permitted until 9pm, and the center's events team can be reached directly to discuss packages and availability.
