Kapok Special Event Center & Gardens

Kapok Special Events Center & Gardens is a historic event venue in Clearwater, Florida, set on the grounds of the original Kapok Tree restaurant, which opened in 1958. The property is known for its Old World character — lush garden landscapes, decorative fountains, sculpture, and crystal chandeliers that distinguish it from more modern banquet facilities in the region. The venue accommodates a wide range of celebrations, from weddings and quinceañeras to corporate dinners, tradeshows, and holiday parties. Its combination of indoor and outdoor spaces makes it one of the more versatile options in the Clearwater area, with the gardens and grounds providing a naturally scenic backdrop for ceremonies and receptions alike. Guests are invited to tour the property in person by scheduling an appointment with the events coordination team.
