King Edward Hotel / Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown

The King Edward Hotel / Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown is a landmark hotel in the heart of downtown Jackson, Mississippi. The property opened in 1923 and was fully restored and reopened in 2009, pairing the building's historic character with contemporary hotel amenities including over 180 guest rooms, a restaurant, fitness center, and indoor pool. For events, the hotel offers 7,321 square feet of flexible meeting and event space across nine rooms, with capacity for groups of 5 to 300 guests. The Grand Ballroom is the property's signature event space, featuring arched ceilings and skylights that fill the room with natural light — it seats 250 for a formal dinner or opens to 325 for a standing reception. On-site catering and the full hotel infrastructure make it a natural fit for weddings and rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, and multi-day events that call for overnight accommodations in the same building.
