Kirkbride Hall

Kirkbride Hall is a historic event venue set within Grand Traverse Commons, one mile from downtown Traverse City, Michigan. Originally built as a chapel, the building retains its cathedral-like character — 30-foot ceilings, stained glass windows, and a 2,600-square-foot main hall that has been welcoming gatherings for generations. The main hall seats up to 160 guests for ceremonies and receptions, offering flexible floor plans suited to weddings, corporate meetings, galas, and concerts. Outdoor ceremonies on the historic front lawn accommodate up to 220 guests, with the option for a tented reception. Clients have full flexibility in vendor selection, including outside catering, and each rental includes an on-site venue representative, a bridal suite, and complimentary parking. The surrounding commons adds to the experience: boutique shops, eateries, wineries, and hiking trails are all within walking distance.
