L'Engle Hall

L'Engle Hall is a renovated event space at the historic Friday Musicale complex in Jacksonville, Florida. The adjacent building to the main Concordia Ballroom, L'Engle Hall was renamed in 2008 to honor Friday Musicale founder Claudia L'Engle Adams and her sister Mary L'Engle, and completed a full renovation in February 2011. The hall accommodates up to 90 guests seated at tables with a dance floor, or up to 150 in theater-style arrangement, making it well suited for small recitals, luncheons, meetings, corporate gatherings, and private parties. The space is equipped with tables and chairs, a lectern with microphone and sound system, a full kitchen, and a baby grand piano. Friday Musicale itself has been a cornerstone of Jacksonville's musical life since 1890, presenting world-renowned performers and sustaining community programs including an annual free concert series and a college scholarship program. Rental proceeds directly support these initiatives and the ongoing preservation of the historic buildings at 645 Oak Street.
