Landmark On Main Street

Landmark on Main Street is a not-for-profit performing arts and community center at 232 Main Street in Port Washington, NY. The venue is housed within a 1994 renovation of an 87-year-old former school building, transformed into a 25,000-square-foot complex that includes the 425-seat Jeanne Rimsky Theater. The Jeanne Rimsky Theater has welcomed performers spanning concerts, Broadway, folk, and jazz — including Rufus Wainwright, Graham Nash, Christine Ebersole, and Mandy Patinkin — as well as events ranging from speaker engagements and dance performances to meetings and birthday parties. The theater and the adjacent Doctors' Gymnasium are both available for private rental.
