Lazy Days Winery

Lazy Days Winery is a family-owned and operated winery in Amherst County, Virginia, set against a backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains and within easy reach of both Charlottesville and Lynchburg. The estate's first vines were planted in 2007, and since the 2015 vintage all of its wines have been 100% estate grown and produced — a lineup that now includes Petit Manseng, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Chambourcin, Traminette, Tannat, Malbec, Pinotage, Albarino, and Arneis, with over seven award-winning wines poured in the tasting room. Spread across more than 90 acres, the property offers both indoor and outdoor settings for weddings and private events, including a covered pavilion, the dell, and the vineyard itself, giving planners flexibility for everything from an intimate gathering to a large celebration. Lazy Days hosts rehearsal dinners, wedding showers, engagement parties, and wedding portraits in addition to full wedding ceremonies and receptions, and couples are free to choose their own caterers. The winery is also home to the Virginia Summer Solstice Wine Festival and Hallowine, and regularly hosts Sangria Saturdays with live music.
