Log Country Inn B&B has offered a peaceful retreat on the edge of 7,000 acres of New York State forest since 1987. Founded by Wanda, a Polish emigrant who converted the rooms of her log cabin to welcome guests from around the world, the inn now comprises two properties — the original Log Country Inn and the All Welcome Inn — with six rooms total in Spencer, NY, about 11 miles south of Ithaca. The property's woodland setting makes it a natural fit for reunions and family gatherings, and the inn is open to hosting events in collaboration with artists and creatives. Guests have access to hiking trails, fishing ponds, a fire pit, and a playground on the adjacent state forest. A complimentary breakfast — with vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options — is included with every stay. The inn welcomes guests from all backgrounds, including LGBTQ travelers, and is pet-friendly.
