Lone Star Riverboat Cruises operates a fleet of environmentally friendly, electric-powered vessels on Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin, offering narrated sightseeing tours, seasonal sunset bat-watching cruises, and private charters for weddings, receptions, and other celebrations. The flagship vessel, The Lone Star, is billed as the largest all-electric paddle-wheeler in the nation. The double-decked, 75-foot boat accommodates up to 100 guests for private charters, with a climate-controlled lower cabin, an open-air upper deck for dining and dancing, a sound system with a wireless microphone, two buffet tables, and a bar area. It is ADA-compliant, with wheelchair access and separate men's and women's restrooms. For smaller gatherings such as showers and bachelor or bachelorette parties, the company also charters three pontoon cruisers: the 32-foot Little Star, which holds up to 30 guests, and the 35-foot Southern Star and Northern Star, each holding up to 60 guests. All three double as seasonal sunset and bat-watching tour boats between March and October. On-board catering for charters includes barbecue, fajita, and smoked chicken menus, alongside several bar service options.
