Built in 1876 as part of the Eagle Dairy Ranch owned by Dr. Benjamin Lyford and Hilarita Reed, the ornate Victorian home now serves as an outdoor waterfront event venue set within 10.5 acres of trails, gardens, and protected wildlife habitat. The venue's terrace and meadow host weddings, corporate retreats, meetings, and private celebrations for up to 150 seated guests, with sweeping panoramic views stretching from Belvedere across the San Francisco skyline to Sausalito and Mount Tamalpais. Because the property operates as an active bird sanctuary — home to more than 200 bird and wildlife species — amplified music is not permitted, though a microphone for speeches and toasts and acoustic music are welcome.
