Lyon Park Community Center

Lyon Park Community Center occupies a community house built in 1925 and fully renovated in 2015, blending historic charm with modern convenience on three acres of privately-owned parkland in Arlington, Virginia. The building's light-filled, elegant interior sits amid mature trees and a children's play area, giving the surrounding grounds a touch of rural ambience just minutes from Washington, D.C. The center's single reception hall spans over 4,000 square feet and seats up to 150 guests, making it suited to weddings, parties, memorial services, meetings, and recitals alike. A separate upstairs room offers space for wedding-party preparation, while an open floor plan with large windows and a pull-down projection screen supports everything from dance floors and DJ setups to corporate presentations and training sessions. Two kitchens - a galley kitchen for beverages and appetizers and a full state-of-the-art kitchen for meal preparation - support catering for events of any size. The venue is fully accessible, with ADA-compliant restrooms, ample unrestricted on-street parking, and a location within walking distance of Metro and Metrobus service. In warmer months, the three-acre park accommodates tented outdoor celebrations alongside the indoor hall.
