Machines With Magnets

Established in 2006, Machines with Magnets is a contemporary art gallery, cocktail bar, event and performance venue, and recording studio in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The 2,000-square-foot venue and gallery combine two connected areas finished with mid-century modern furnishings, custom seating, a full bar, and Danish Modern details, and the gallery hosts quarterly contemporary art, craft, and design exhibitions. A private, lighted patio extends the space outdoors, set against a backdrop of the neighborhood's historic mill buildings and reachable via off-street parking, suited to food trucks and outdoor catering. A dressing room and back-of-house areas are available on request. Machines with Magnets hosts weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, bar and bat mitzvahs, showers, holiday parties, corporate events, meetings, fundraisers, and community gatherings. Its bar program features seasonal and classic cocktails, local canned beer, natural wine, and craft spirits, and clients may bring their own caterer or choose from the venue's suggestions.
