About MadArt Studio
MadArt Studio, which was built in the 1920s, was formerly a car showroom and then a DMV, where the nation's first driving exams were administered. With the aid of renowned Seattle design company Graham Baba Architects, this historic structure has been rebuilt as a focus for innovative events and artistic innovation, over a century after it was first constructed. A unique but adaptable venue, MadArt Studio has the building's original brick walls, as well as exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows, making it a great choice for a range of events such as weddings, corporate meetings, private dinners, and cocktail soirees. Our charges are around $300/hour on average; please contact us for further information on pricing. Because it provides artists with possibilities to construct large-scale installations such as Mad Homes (2011), Mad Campus (2015), and Middle Fork (2016), MadArt has functioned as a catalyst for the creation of new and surprising artworks in Seattle since its founding in 2009. (2015). MadArt provides artists with an outlet to the public as well as the general public with access to art through both on-site and off-site displays. MadArt's aim is to support artists in our community, to bring art into our lives in unexpected ways, and to encourage participation in the arts among all members of the community.
