Welcome. Located at Magnolia Fields, a historic house and event venue built in 1898, Magnolia Fields has been meticulously restored to provide you with the event of your dreams. Guests can be accommodated in our spectacular indoor and external spaces for up to 250 people. Magnolia Fields was the result of several people working together. When it came to revitalizing Zachary's historic area in the spring of 2019, the city council was on the lookout for potential candidates. Danny and Skye Willis, parents of six children and entrepreneurs who lived in St. Francisville, Louisiana, came highly recommended by a friend. They hopped on board with the vision and brought it to a new level of success. ​ The combination of Danny's business background and Skye's experience as a restauranteur, event coordinator, and decorator made an event facility an obvious choice. Denise Ortego, Danny's sister, was immediately enthused by the concept and joined the team as a partner. Denise has a broad professional background, with her most recent position as general manager of a big assisted care facility on her portfolio. Denise carries with her an extraordinary degree of hospitality and attention to detail in every element Magnolia Fields is a beautiful venue for weddings. If you are thinking about holding your wedding at Magnolia Fields, the "Wedding Investment" that corresponds to your event's specifications is the sole investment required to reserve your date; everything else indicated below is available on a "a la carte" basis as well. If you are someone who would want to hold your event at our venue but would like to handle everything else on your own, that is quite OK; simply let us know when you inquire. If you are looking for a one-stop shop where we will take care of everything for you and you will not have to worry about a thing, we can definitely accommodate your needs! To get correct pricing for your style and preferences, we recommend that you check through all of our previous events as well as all of our mentioned options, create your own ideas or mood board, and schedule a session with one of our wedding planners. The wedding ceremony will take place in the charming garden courtyard. Immediately following the ceremony, we will lead everyone through the barn doors into the pavilion and house for food and beverages, while transforming the courtyard into a reception area with a huge dance floor and circular cocktail tables around the perimeter.
