Nestled on 13 acres in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, The Historic Magnolia Manor is a private wedding and event venue housed in one of the region's most distinguished historic properties. The centerpiece is the John Watson House — built around 1815 and expanded in 1859 by architect Jacob W. Holt into a graceful fusion of Greek Revival and Italianate design — which earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. Its ornate full-width porch, fluted columns, and detailed roofline have welcomed guests for more than a century and a half. Ceremonies at The Historic Magnolia Manor take place beneath an ancient oak tree or within a pecan orchard, and receptions gather in a warm Southern-style barn set against the open countryside. The property also serves as a bed and breakfast, giving the wedding party the rare ability to stay on-site and turn a single celebration into a full countryside retreat.
