Maple Chase Golf & Country Club carries more than 70 years of history on its 300-acre grounds in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The property — once the Cox Dairy Farm — was shaped into an 18-hole championship course by renowned golf course designer Ellis Maples in 1954, when it opened as Pinebrook Country Club. New ownership transformed the club in 2013, bringing a comprehensive renovation and the Maple Chase name, and a 2024 course redesign by Robert Moore intentionally echoes Maples' original vision while reflecting a complete course rebuild. The recently renovated 12,000-square-foot clubhouse — described by the club as "the ultimate gathering spot for members, families, and guests" — sits at the heart of Maple Chase's event life. The Pinebrook Bar & Grille, named in tribute to the club's origins, draws members and guests with seasonally inspired menus, a full bar with fireplace lounge seating, patio dining overlooking the putting green, and recurring events including wine dinners and Music on the Patio evenings. The Chase Pool & Cabana adds warm-weather programming — pool parties, socials, and Dive-In Movies — while a state-of-the-art fitness center and newly added pickleball courts complete the amenity picture.
