Maple Hill Farm Inn and Conference Center

Maple Hill Farm Inn and Conference Center sits on 50 acres in Hallowell, Maine, on land first cleared in the late 1700s and farmed continuously through the 20th century. The main house was built in 1906 and converted to a bed-and-breakfast in 1988; a major renovation in 2001 added guest rooms and restored the Carriage House. In 2005, the property became Maine's first certified Environmental Leader in green lodging, and it has since added solar systems and a wind turbine. The Inn hosts weddings, private celebrations, and corporate retreats across several distinct spaces — from the 1,800-square-foot Gathering Place, which accommodates up to 150 guests banquet-style and can expand with an attached tent, to the intimate Carriage House (up to 80 for a reception) and the Gallery, which features rotating works by local artists. Outdoor events draw on the full 50-acre grounds, with hayfields, woodland trails, and access to an adjacent 800-plus-acre wildlife management area. In-house custom catering — hors d'oeuvres, buffet, and plated meals — along with full liquor service and personalized planning support are available for all events. High-speed WiFi and integrated AV systems are standard across the main event spaces.
