McConnell Estates Winery

McConnell Estates Winery is an award-winning, family-owned winery set on 650 acres in the Cosumnes River AVA within the Lodi appellation, just south of Elk Grove, California. The property has been farmed by the Wackman family across six generations, and the historic tasting room occupies a ranch house originally built by the family in 1860. All wines are estate-grown and produced on-site, reflecting more than two decades of winemaking rooted in the land's distinctive red clay soils. For private events, the winery offers several gathering spaces accommodating groups from under 20 to 200 guests. The Historic Event Barn seats up to 125 guests indoors, with the option to expand to 200 by opening onto the adjacent Cocktail Courtyard. The Ceremony Lawn provides an outdoor setting for up to 200 guests framed by vineyard backdrops. The intimate Tasting Room, housed in the remodeled 1860 ranch house, is available for smaller gatherings of up to 75 guests in the evening. The estate hosts weddings, corporate dinners, private celebrations, and more than 20 public events each year, including concerts and wine-pairing dinners. On-site setup and breakdown, tables, chairs, linens, outdoor furniture, restrooms, and parking are included with event bookings.
