Mile Marker One

Mile Marker One is a waterfront restaurant and private event venue at Cape Ann Marina in Gloucester, Massachusetts, about 40 miles north of Boston. Positioned at the historic start of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, the restaurant overlooks the Annisquam River, marina docks, and Gloucester Harbor — bringing panoramic water views into both its dining and event spaces. Two dedicated spaces accommodate a range of group sizes. The Compass Room is a private second-floor venue for up to 55 guests, with its own entrance, a full-service bar, and wide windows framing the salt marsh, marina docks, and river — well suited to rehearsal dinners, showers, birthday celebrations, and intimate corporate gatherings. The Dining Room & Bar seats up to 74 guests year-round, with large windows overlooking the Annisquam River and marina, and availability for private and semi-private bookings during off-peak season. The kitchen draws on fresh, local, and in-season ingredients, with seafood, raw bar service, and an extensive wine and cocktail program available for private events. Seasonal valet parking and on-site hotel accommodations at The Hotel at Cape Ann Marina are available for event guests.
