Milltown Historic District

Milltown Historic District sits in the center of New Braunfels, Texas, next to the historic Faust Street Bridge on the Guadalupe River. The property offers two distinct venues for weddings and private events. The Grande Ballroom, once a hotel in the 1920s, brings a New Orleans-inspired atmosphere to the Texas Hill Country with gas lighting, chandeliers, and a grand staircase, and seats up to 150 guests for ceremonies and receptions; its covered courtyard adds space for a cocktail hour. The Gallery, formerly a 1920s general store, is Milltown's smaller and more rustic venue, with a high beamed ceiling, string lighting, and a landscaped courtyard with a stone arch, seating up to 75 guests. Both venues include day-of staff, a caterer's pantry, and ADA-compliant access, and each connects to Milltown's five on-site cabins, which together sleep up to 36 guests and are used for dressing space or overnight accommodations. Ample on-site parking rounds out the property, which is open year-round with tours available by appointment.
