Morgan Park Academy, located on 111th Street in Chicago's historic Morgan Park-Beverly neighborhood, is the ideal venue for any event. Our campus is truly "The Hidden Gem of the South Side." Our theater commands a prominent position at the entrance to our 20-acre campus. Jones Bowl, our expansive grass area, is located behind the theater. This flexible venue is excellent for huge community events as well as intimate tented events such as weddings and anniversary parties. Jones Bowl is surrounded by four ancient buildings, which provide a grand and secluded background with regal vistas in all directions for your event. Take a peek at a few of our numerous possibilities: Arts Center - Theater: There are 425 seats in the theater, as well as a green room and dressing rooms. Ideal for theater companies, dance or music recitals, and graduations. - Art Gallery: Located across the street from the theater, this spot is ideal for weddings, cocktail parties, and business meetings. Historic Alumni Hall - Dining Hall: This lovely space is ideal for weddings, dances, and other events. The room has 225 chairs and an alcove where you may dance the night away. - Library: A big fireplace and comfortable seating space are at the core of this majestic room. The space is graced by ancient oak reading tables that provide enough sitting. This space is ideal for meetings, banquets, and literary events. Jones Bowl: Beautiful courtyard that may be used for outdoor gatherings.
