Morning Glory Farm

Morning Glory Farm is a private estate venue set on a working farm in Monroe, North Carolina, just outside Charlotte. The property was designed in 1993 by an architect who built an Italian-style farmhouse on the land, and it was purchased in 2006 by Scott and Nan, who continue growing blueberries, asparagus, and seasonal vegetables using organic farming practices. The farm hosted its first outdoor wedding in Fall 2011. Surrounded by sparkling cafe lights, lush greenery, and overgrown rose bushes, the setting carries what the venue describes as a "sophisticated, magical, and quaint backyard" feel. The family-run team — Nan, Maggie, and Scott — takes a personal approach to each event, supporting couples throughout the planning and preparation process to help bring their individual style to life.
