Naples Art Association von Liebig Art Center

The Naples Art Institute — known for decades as the Naples Art Association at the von Liebig Art Center — has been a cornerstone of Southwest Florida's cultural life since its founding in 1954. The current facility, a 16,000-square-foot center that opened in 1998 on the northwest corner of Cambier Park in downtown Naples, was named in recognition of a major gift from Suzanne and William von Liebig that made the building possible. The center brings together professionally curated exhibitions, six artist studios, a dedicated art library, and comprehensive education programs for adults and youth under one roof. Its galleries showcase work by international, national, and regional artists, while annual outdoor art fairs — including the long-running Naples National Art Show, consistently recognized among the top art festivals in the country — draw visitors from across the region. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the institute pursues a mission to enlighten, engage, educate, and enrich the community through the visual arts, offering a setting where art, learning, and celebration come together in the heart of downtown Naples.
