National Museum of Mathematics

The National Museum of Mathematics — known as MoMath — is Manhattan's only hands-on institution dedicated entirely to mathematics, and one of New York City's most distinctive settings for private events. The museum is available seven days a week for receptions, banquets, bar and bat mitzvahs, holiday parties, and more. Groups may rent a floor or the entire museum, giving guests exclusive access to the interactive exhibits with the help of trained interpreters. The Enigma Café serves as a natural gathering point for cocktail hours, and exhibits like the Square-Wheeled Tricycle and the Human Tree fractal installation give guests something to discover throughout the evening. For hosts who want to go further, MoMath's artist-in-residence can perform a live laser-cutting demonstration, or a custom scavenger hunt can be designed around the exhibit halls. Groups may select their own caterers and vendors; MoMath can provide a list of preferred partners on request.
